Aaron Johnson is Senior Vice President, Nuclear, and is responsible for leading the successful pursuit and execution of all nuclear projects within Aecon’s portfolio.
Aaron joined Aecon in 2006 and has since gained extensive experience across many of the organization’s operational and corporate teams, including the industrial, nuclear, and urban transportation sectors. He has played a key role in the pursuit and delivery of several of Aecon’s most complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including the Darlington Refurbishment project, the GO Expansion On-Corridor project, and the Scarborough Subway Extension project.
Aaron holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He is also licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
In his spare time, Aaron participates in long-distance cycling events, charitable rides, and triathlons, including the Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Lake Huron Gran Fondo. These events combine his passion for fitness with his commitment to giving back to the community. When he’s not at work, you can often find him on Ontario’s cycling routes, running paths, or at his local pool preparing for his next challenge.
